Joseph Most
Vice-President
Hello! I'm Joseph, a third-year English Literature student. My role as Vice-President is to assist the executive committee (and indeed the whole JCR) in running as best as it can! I currently live out in Gilesgate, but you'll be able to find me either in the bar, or at the front of Hatfield Voices, our college's non-auditioned choir!. There are always great new ideas for the college out there, so please do get in touch if you have any suggestions or questions!
My Role
Academic Outreach
My team is composed of myself and the JCR academic outreach officer. This individual is responsible for helping enable Hatfield students to get the most out of their studies and further learning at Durham University. This may be through organising events, advertising extracurriculars, or bringing groups of the extra-studious together! To find out more, click here.
Formal Rules
Formals are a staple of Hatfield life; weekly dinners held on either Tuesdays or Fridays, and a way for us all to regularly celebrate the community and hard work of our college body. The Vice-President is responsible for monitoring the behaviour of low table during the evening, to ensure everyone gets the most out of their formal. Here's a handy guide to the rules of formal, which all students must adhere to.
