Junior Common Room
The JCR is at the heart of Hatfield College. Its role is to ensure that undergraduate students receive the best experience possible. Members of the JCR are able to attend events, play in sports teams, join or create societies, and even run for leadership positions.
Hatfield JCR is led by an elected committee of student volunteers and one paid sabatical, the executive committee. The exec meet regularly to discuss issues within College and the wider university, feeding back about their role and what we can do to improve and give our JCR members the best experiences possible.
The JCR has an exec member to run a specific aspect of College life such as balls, welfare, sports & societies, and formals. We are a self-governed independent charity and are in charge of our own finances and activities.
If you want to find out more about a specific officer, come and find! Moreover, if you want to see the JCR do anything different, or there is something new you would like to establish speak to anyone on the JCR exec - we are here to make sure you have the best experience possible!
